Are you a technically-minded sales professional with a passion for bioprocessing? Green Elephant Biotech is seeking a Technical Sales Expert to help drive adoption of our scalable cell culture solutions across the biopharmaceutical industry.

In this role, you'll work closely with scientists, engineers, and decision-makers in process development and manufacturing to understand their challenges and guide them toward efficient, GMP-compliant production with our cell culture system. You will identify new opportunities at conferences, provide technical support through implementation and managing long-term customer relationships. You'll be a key player in expanding our presence in Europe and North America – and in shaping the future of cell culture.

Key responsibilities

Industry Engagement & Representation

  • Represent Green Elephant Biotech at leading industry conferences, exhibitions, and trade shows across Europe and North America.
  • Engage with professionals from process development, MSAT, and manufacturing to showcase our scalable solutions for adherent cell culture.

Technical Outreach

  • Identify and evaluate potential partners in the biopharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, especially those working with viral vectors, vaccines, or cell and gene therapies.
  • Qualify opportunities by understanding process requirements and aligning them with our product capabilities.

Technical Sales & Solution Development

  • Conduct hands-on product demonstrations and guide technical discussions around process integration and scale-up.
  • Act as an advisor by mapping client needs to our offerings and highlighting advantages over conventional systems.
  • Drive consultative cycles and support customers through evaluation to commercial implementation.

Account Management & Technical Support

  • Manage long-term client relationships, ensuring successful adoption and satisfaction throughout the customer journey.
  • Identify opportunities for product expansion, such as transitioning from R&D to GMP, and scaling from manual to automated systems.
  • Collaborate closely with the R&D team to provide expert feedback, troubleshoot challenges, and continuously improve the user experience.

Qualifications

  • Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with cell culture systems, bioprocessing, or related biotech products is required.
  • Proactive: Self-driven and able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with minimal supervision.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in B2B sales within the biotechnology, biopharmaceutical, or laboratory equipment sectors.
  • Languages: Excellent English is required; German proficiency is highly beneficial.
  • Travel: Ability and willingness to travel internationally regularly.
  • Location: You live in Germany or are willing and entitled to relocate to Germany
