IMPACT starts with us: Schneider Electric is looking for a Cybersecurity Advisor f/m/d to join our Home & Distribution division. This role is essential in ensuring our products meet cybersecurity and data protection standards. You will support the development of resilient products, manage cybersecurity risks, and advise R&D teams to embed cybersecurity and data privacy capabilities by design and by default. Additionally, you will influence product investment plans and build trust with customers and authorities.
Your IMPACT
- Deploy Schneider Electric Secure Development Lifecycle program and conduct Formal Cybersecurity Reviews (FCSR).
- Address cybersecurity and data protection requirements for Home & Distribution products, meeting customer and regulatory expectations.
- Perform risk assessments on offers, systems, and app services, providing mitigating actions and ensuring compliance.
- Raise awareness of cybersecurity regulations (e.g., RED DA, CRA, EU Data Act) to influence R&D investment plans.
- Lead and coordinate cybersecurity initiatives within the business line.
- Support product teams in specifying security requirements and applying best practices for design, automation, and tool selection.

Your profile
- Degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Experience in cybersecurity and privacy, including conducting reviews.
- Strong knowledge of IT and technical requirements related to Cyber and Privacy by Design.
- Experience with risk assessment, threat modeling, and security requirements definition.
- Knowledge of security standards (IEC 62443, ISO27001, GDPR) and their application.
- Privacy and Information Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CIPP, CIPM) and knowledge of privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, NIST CSF) are desirable.
- Occasional travel required to visit sites, participate in working groups, and engage with customers and partners.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
